When it comes to my beauty routine, I am a simple person. Certain things make me feel good as a woman, and taking care of myself is one of them. When you look good, you feel good. Here are some easy nighttime beauty to-dos.

Shower and Cleanse Your Face

I am a fan of all Bath and Body Works shower products, and Clean and Clear face washes are a must, especially Morning Burst.


Moisturizing your body is essential for healthy skin and helps prevent many skin issues. It keeps the skin balanced. If your skin is too oily or too dry, skin problems tend to occur. Acne, irritation, and rashes may occur because of skipping this simple step in your routine. You can always tailor moisturizing to your skin’s needs. The best time to moisturize your body is immediately after a shower.

Night Garments

What you wear to bed matters. You want to ensure you get the best sleep, so if you are too hot or cold, that will interrupt your sleep throughout the night. Choose short-sleeved light garments to sleep in.

Lavender Oil

Lavender essential oil has been used to aid sleep for centuries. There have been many studies done that have proven its effectiveness. Lavender essential oil contains potent chemical components that interact with the brain and nervous system to reduce agitation, restlessness, and aggression. This is why lavender helps you relax and makes drifting off to sleep easier. I use a roll-on oil and or a pillow mist. It works wonders, but ensure you wash your pillowcases often.
